Any NAISD's that do not cause water retention?

I've been prescribed Indocin 50 mg, 2x/day. Within about a week's time, I gained 15 lb in water weight! My doctor seems to suspect my eating habits, but those have not changed and I wouldn't be able to gain that weight in such a short time if I tried (I've been 120-125 lb for 9+ years, very good eating habits). This medication has also has raised my blood pressure (140/90, normal for me is 105/65), and makes my mitral valve prolapse more noticeable (palpitations almost constantly, very annoying!). Any suggestions from the medical community of other NAISD's to ask my doctor about as possible replacements? I'm being treated for ankylosing spondylitis. It's very frustrating!

I have some major water retention going on. I'm currently taking Indocin, which sometimes causes water retention. I just stopped taking Lyrica, which also causes this problem. I'm looking for an over the counter remedy- what has worked for you, and how long does it take to work?

I have excruciating migraines almost every day. I've seen my regular doctor & at least 3 neurologists & a chiropractor. I've been through numerous medications/pain killers. I'll list the medicines I've already tried, but have had no luck with. If there is any medicine that I haven't listed that you use or know of for migraines, PLEASE let me know!!! I can't find anything so far that is non-narcotic that will help reduce the pain. I would rather find something that is non-narcotic, but am running out of options. My doctor doesn't think outside the box, so she wants to prescribe medicines that I have already tried and that do not work or that I am allergic to. Any help will be very much appreciated!!!
